How to Setup MFA
Step1. Get Microsoft Authenticator App from App Store
Open App Store:
- Search for Microsoft Authenticator (Icon below):
- Click Get (You’ll see Open if the app is already installed)
- Enter your Apple ID password to get/install the app
- And Click Open
Step2. Connect the app to your work account using the steps given below:
- Use your computer/laptop to open security info page using the link given below https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info or by clicking here
- Log in to the page using your work email and password
- Once the password is entered, it should ask you for more information to set up MFA. Click Next
- Click Next if the app is already installed:
• After clicking Next, Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on the phone and click on Plus icon at the top right-hand corner and click on Work or school account and then Scan QR code.
• Once QR code is scanned, Click Next and click approve the prompt on the phone app
- Once the QR code has been successfully scanned and set up Authenticator app will look like this.
You have now successfully set up your MFA app.
