Adding a Recurring series to your Calendar
(For Backup Management)
We have just recently changed our backup schedule. The nightly backups of the user files are now automatically done.
The only tape backup that will be done will run once a week on Friday at 11:00pm. This backup will include the remaining system and registry files on the server.
In order to help you remember to put the tape in every Friday this document will instruct you on how to add a reminder to your calendar that will appear when you logon Friday morning.
- Open Outlook 2003
- Click on Calendar
3. You can also access the Calendar from HERE and HERE, depending on how Outlook is setup
4. To get a view of the week click on the ‘work week’ button
5. Then right click in the Friday field
6. A menu will pop up please select ‘New Recurring Event’
\
7. Fill out the screen as below and the click OK
8. Also fill out the below screen as seen and then click ‘Save and Close’
